Manifestaciones cutáneas del hiperandrogenismo

Resumen
El hiperandrogenismo es un término usado para describir las manifestaciones de la hiperandrogenemia en la mujer: acné, hirsutismo y alopecia. Igualmente, puede llevar a numerosas consecuencias metabólicas por la afección de múltiples órganos y sistemas.
En este artículo se revisarán las principales causas, la forma de presentación clínica, el enfoque del paciente y la terapia disponible.
