Resumen

Las vasculitis cutáneas comprenden un amplio espectro de síndromes clínicos, que usualmente se presentan como púrpura palpable, caracterizados por inflamación perivascular segmentaria y necrosis fibrinoide de la pared de los vasos sanguíneos. La piel es a menudo el único órgano comprometido, pero puede ocurrir compromiso sistémico.
Este artículo describe la etiología, clasificación, diagnóstico y tratamiento de las vasculitis sistémicas y cutáneas.
