Verrucous hemangioma is a rare entity, it is present from birth and does not have spontaneous regression, and it is located mainly in the lower extremities. Hyperkeratotic lesions are characteristically observed with diffuse venous nodules of varying size that bleed easily. Histopathologically the vessels are ecstatic under an acanthotic and hyperkeratotic epidermis with vascular compromise in the reticular dermis and subcutaneous tissue; the preferred treatment is surgical resection with a high recurrence rate.
