Bullous systemic lupus erythematosus with slow response to dapsone.

Bullous systemic lupus erythematosus is a rare disease, more commonly present in young women. It is characterized by prevailing tense subepidermal blisters, but not exclusively in areas exposed to light. It may be accompanied by mucosal involvement. The case of a 15-year-old girl with no relevant past medical history and a two months generalized tense evolution bullous lesions is presented. Bullous systemic lupus erythematosus diagnosis was confirmed, and treatment was started with dapsone. She presented a slow creeping improvement with a drug that traditionally produces a marked improvement.
