Presentation of the case of a diabetic patient who is diagnosed with a CA in the face and extensive surgery is recommended. The patient asks the doctor to refer him to another specialist to obtain a second opinion and to be able to decide with greater tranquility and security. The doctor gets upset with the patient and refuses to facilitate the process. The case is analyzed by the hospital ethics committee at the request of the patient who considers a right is being violated.
