Abstract

Painful skin tumors are a diagnostic challenge for the dermatologist due to their insidious and non-specific evolution. These lesions are rare, corresponding to approximately 2% of cutaneous soft tissue tumors, and are also accompanied by painful neuropathic symptoms, highlighting allodynia as the cardinal symptom.
We report a case of a 76-year-old male patient who presented a solitary painful tumor of infrequent location in the distal third of the right forearm treated surgically is described below. In this way, the associated pain was resolved and their quality of life improved.
