Presentation of the case of a specialist doctor who requests the hospital director to review his salary allocation, because he has found that it is the same as that assigned to other specialists and he considers that it is unfair, given that the activities he carries out in the institution are more complex and produce more stress than those carried out by their colleagues.
The medical director takes the case to the hospital personnel commission and the hospital ethics committee.
Both committees study the request and issue the concept to the medical director for decisionmaking in this
regard.
The case is examined through the lens of medical ethics and best practices in health management and remuneration of human talent.
