Abstract

Hyperandrogenism is characterized by hirsutism, acne, alopecia and oligo/amenorrhea, among its causes are polycystic ovaries and ovarian or adrenal tumors. We present the case of a patient with virilization secondary to a steroid cell tumor of the ovary that improved after resection.
