Abstract

Nail lichen planus is a chronic inflammatory skin disease whose treatment is mandatory to prevent matrix scarring; nevertheless, there are no defined standards of treatment. In this article we report the case of a woman with lichen planus with twenty-nail dystrophy treated successfully with oral isotretinoin, oral biotin, and topical 12% ammonium lactate.
