La calcifilaxis es un síndrome caracterizado por lesiones cutáneas dolorosas, nódulos subcutáneos, isquemia tisular y necrosis de piel, debido a calcificación metastásica de arterias de pequeño y mediano calibre en dermis y tejido celular subcutáneo, asociado con falla renal crónica. Reportamos un paciente de sexo masculino de 44 años de edad, con aparición de úlceras dolorosas en miembros inferiores y compromiso de la función renal. La histopatología muestra depósito de calcio en vasos sanguíneos de dermis y tejido celular subcutáneo con necrosis y trombosis.
