Abstract

La utilización de los equipos de láser en Dermatología es cada vez mayor. El láser de C02 para realizar el resufacing cutáneo favorece el tratamiento de arrugas, el fotoenvejecimiento y las cicatrices, pero es absolutamente necesario conocer y entender sus bases de funcionamiento y sus efectos clínicos e histológicos. Aunque cada vez se progresa más en el control de la cantidad de tejido vaporizado, con el mínimo de daño térmico a la piel, es importante recalcar algunos aspectos para así maximizar sus beneficios.
