Mandamientos de la liposucción

Desde 1976 se conoce la liposucción, siendo hoy en día una de las cirugías más practicadas en el mundo entero; sin embargo, se siguen presentando complicaciones, en algunos casos fatales.
Con el fin de disminuir estas complicaciones, recordamos los mandamientos de la liposucción para hacer esta cirugía menos riesgosa, los cuales se basan en la elección del paciente, la preparación del cirujano, el conocimiento de las indicaciones, la evaluación preoperatoria, la realización ambulatoria en quirófano con sedoanalgesia y tumescencia y el conocimiento de las complicaciones.
