Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a rare disorder of degeneration of the elastic fibers with tiny areas of calcification in the skin, the retina, and the cardiovascular system. It presents in two types of inheritance. We report a case of 35-year old woman, who presented yellow plaques in neck and upper limbs. Skin biopsy showed fragmented elastic fibers and masses of calcified elastic fibers in the mid-to lower dermis suggestive of Pseudoxanthoma elasticum.
