Abstract

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium spi­rochetes Treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum, secondary syphilis is a stage characterized by variety of clinical findings, including a wide variety of dermal manifestations appearing typically 4-10 weeks after the initial infec­tion. The typical palmar and plantar exanthema is the most common dermal manifestation. We describe 2 cases with manifestations in palms and soles.
