Envejecimiento fotoenvejecimiento
Resumen
Se define como envejecimiento la pérdida progresiva de todas las funciones del organismo, haciéndolo más vulnerable a los factores ambientales externos, hecho que en biología se conoce como entropía celular. Esta lleva a una disminución en la capacidad homeostática, factor fundamental para el mantenimiento de la función de tejidos y órganos . El riesgo de carcinogénesis es mayor, aparecen cambios pigmentarios en la piel y los radicales libres hacen parte importante en el envejecimiento total de un organismo.
