Identificación de factores de riesgo de recidiva del carcinoma basocelular

Diecisiete Carcinomas Basocelulares recurrentes fueron comparados con 28 no recurrentes, para identificar características clínicas, histológicas y terapéuticas que fueran predictivas de recurrencia. El contomo de los bordes de invasión del tumor y el tipo de tratamiento previo tuvieron significancia estadística, como factores predictivos de recurrencia; se concluye que, al decidir un tipo específico de terapia, se deberán tener en cuenta las características biológicas tumorales y la localización anatómica para alcanzar altas ratas de curación.
