Abstract

Se trata de una mujer de treinta y dos años, con erupción cutánea asociada con fiebre, congestión faríngea y dolor muscular, quien venía recibiendo sulfazalacina por sacroileítis crónica. Presentaba múltiples adenopatías cervicales y hepatomegalia. El cuadro hemático mostró leucocitosis, linfocitosis y eosinofilia marcada. Transaminasas muy elevadas y biopsia de piel compatible con reacción medicamentosa confirman el diagnóstico de síndrome DRESS.
