Resumen

Se hace una revisión sobre la escabiasis, abarcando nuevos conceptos epidemiológicos, inmunológicos, clínicos y terapéuticos que sirven para tener un enfoque racional sobre el manejo que se debe dar a esta dermatosis, a propósito de la epidemia que se vive actualmente en el Departamento de Córdoba,
Colombia.
