Abstract

Proliferating Pilomatrixoma is a rare entity, considered a benign but locally aggressive variant of Pilomatrixomas. Most cases occur between 60-80 years of age, such as solitary skin nodules located mainly in the head and neck, ranging in size from 1.5 - 5.5 cm. The treatment consists of complete surgical resection with adequate surgical margins, with the possibility of local recurrence of up to 14% if this margin is not achieved.
