Abstract

Victims of attacks with chemical products and susequent burns, present with psychological and physical sequelae depending on the affected area. Cicatricial alopecia in particular is difficult to handle and all that is offered to the patient as a therapeutic measure to improve his/her appearance, will also raise his/her self-esteem. We report the case of a female patient with scalp scarring alopecia due to chemical burns who underwent hair transplants with mini-punch graft technique and significant clinical improvement.
