Subcutaneous Sweet syndrome associated to myelodysplastic syndrome
Keywords:

Deep Sweet syndrome is a neutrophilic dermatosis with compromise of cellular subcutaneous tissue. It is an uncommon entity but associated in most cases with myelodysplastic syndromes or hematologic malignancies. Sometimes the diagnosis is difficult because it may present similar clinical manifestations to other neutrophilic panniculitis that require different treatment as infectious panniculitis or erythema nodosum. The case of a patient with myelodysplastic syndrome and deep Sweet syndrome that responded quickly to treatment with systemic steroids is presented.
