Two case reports of atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini on the neck

Abstract

Background: The atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini is a rare entity, characterized as idiopathic especially on the trunk and extremities.

Presentation of cases: Case 1. Woman of 57 years of age with a 10-year history of an asymptomatic atrophic gray area of 3 x 2 cm in the neck. Case 2. A 65-year old man with two years of evolution of a left anterior cervical lesion of about 10 cm atrophy of greyish brown coloration.

The clinical presentation of the atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini of idiopathic appearance, the neck area is a location that has been rarely described. Two cases that have similar characteristics in their location are presented.
