Granuloma faciale, leukocytoclastic vasculitisAbstract
It is an inflammatory, benign and infrequent skin disease that corresponds to a leukocytoclastic vasculitis of small vessels. It typically compromises the face, of unknown etiology, although actinic damage has been raised, among other possible causes. It manifests as papules, plaques or nodules of reddish brown to violet, well defined, infiltrated, bright surface, showing follicular accentuation and telangiectasias. This entity has an indolent and benign course, patients usually seek treatment for aesthetics and for its chronic course. There are no management guidelines or good quality of evidence regarding treatment, so the management strategy must be individualized.
