Micosis superficiales en pacientes con VIH/Sida

Resumen

Las micosis superficiales en el contexto de un paciente VIH/Sida, a diferencia de la población general, se caracterizan por la presencia de ma­ nifestaciones atípicas, mayor extensión, mayor gravedad y menor respuesta al tratamiento. Se hace una revisión de las micosis superficiales más frecuentes en este grupo de pacientes, sus características clínicas y algunos conceptos importantes sobre el tratamiento.
