Abstract

Psoriasis is a chronic disease of that is characterized by hiperkeratotic plaques that are caused by cellular proliferation and inflammation. Ostraceous psoriasis refers to hiperkeratotic plaques with relatively concave centers. Psoriatic arthritis belongs to the group of seronegative spondyloarthropathies that can be or not associated with skin lesions, and with axial or peripheral involvement. A man with severe skin lesions and arthritis, after eight months of labor incapacity and failure of numerous treatments, was treated with infliximab with resolution of skin lesions and progressive recovery of articulations.
